.
Wow what a brilliant week working with over 400 children from four participating schools (Huntington Primary School, Acomb Primary School, Wheldrake Primary School and Rawcliffe with Clifton Primary School) in the York Live Arts Week. Each of the children created their own mosaic coaster following an introduction to mosaics.
Huntington school children created theirs with themes reflecting their application for Healthy Schools Awards; all 280 of their coasters will be joined together to create one large mosaic to be displayed in their hall with beautiful mosaics featuring a slice of water melon, grapes, hearts, eyes, smiles and many more excellent images.
Well done everyone it was a pleasure working with you!
