Delivering this mosaic next week just finished for St John's Primary School in Dukinfield nr Manchester. I was commissioned by building contractors Robertson Northwest who are working at the school.

The school held a competition for the children to create the design and this was the chosen one. The eagle is the school's logo and represents the apostle John, a symbol dating back to at least Byzantine times (featuring in the mosaics in Ravenna, Italy).

The mosaic will sit on a plinth and measures 90 x 120cm.
